Usage Instructions

1. Mount the 401-1 monitor on the ESD workbench, complete power connection and reliable earth ground wiring.
2. Connect the wrist strap port to operator’s ESD wrist strap; connect the work surface terminal to ESD table mat.
3. Wear the wrist strap tightly against skin. When both wrist strap and table grounding are normal, green light stays on.
4. Red light and buzzer activate if wrist strap disconnects, table mat grounding fails or resistance out of set range. Stop operation and troubleshoot.
5. Perform regular function verification by simulating disconnection to confirm alarm function works properly.
