Usage Instructions

1. Place the 518-2 monitor on ESD workbench, connect the DC6V power adapter and reliable earth ground wire.
2. Plug two ESD wrist straps into the two respective ports on the monitor.
3. Operators wear wrist straps tightly against skin. Green LED lights up when the grounding loop is normal.
4. Red LED and buzzer alarm will activate if wrist strap falls off, wire breaks or poor skin contact. Stop operation and inspect immediately.
5. Perform regular function test: disconnect wrist strap to verify alarm function works properly for daily ESD audit.
