Usage Instructions

1. Place the 518-1 monitor on the ESD workbench. Connect the DC6V power adapter and reliable earth ground wire.
2. Plug one ESD wrist strap into the monitor port.
3. Operator must wear the wrist strap firmly against skin. Green LED lights up when grounding circuit is normal.
4. Red LED and buzzer alarm will activate if wrist strap falls off, wire breaks or skin contact is poor. Stop operation and troubleshoot immediately.
5. Perform regular function verification by disconnecting the wrist strap to confirm alarm works well for daily ESD audit.
